Celebrate the beauty of late summer in Germany through the art of Ikebana.
Using seasonal flowers and greenery, we will create an elegant Ikebana arrangement that combines graceful, flowing lines with soft, airy greenery and delicate flowers, capturing the subtle beauty and atmosphere of the season.
On August 30, 2026, we celebrated Shichi-Go-San at Eko-Haus in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This year, we had the pleasure of dressing 31 children and their mothers in beautiful kimono. 👘✨
Everything—from setting up the venue and dressing the families, to photography, the Buddhist ceremony, and finally cleaning up—takes place all in one day.
An event of this scale would simply not be possible without the incredible support of so many people.
I am deeply grateful to all the dedicated kimono enthusiasts, photographers, and the Buddhist priest who generously volunteered their time and energy to make this special day possible. 🙏✨
For Japanese families living abroad, Shichi-Go-San is a precious opportunity for children to experience the beauty of kimono and celebrate an important Japanese tradition with their families.
